Handover should transfer control
Drawings, set points, test results, spares, maintenance plans, emergency procedures and responsibility matrices should enable the operating team to take control without relying on informal knowledge.
Early operation deserves attention
The first weeks often reveal incorrect assumptions, demand variation, training gaps and logistics constraints. Structured post-commissioning support allows these issues to be corrected before they become normalised.
Maintenance protects design intent
Preventive maintenance, calibration, oxygen-clean practices and periodic verification preserve the conditions under which the system was designed to perform.
Performance should be visible
Consumption, pressure, inventory, alarms, downtime and maintenance trends should be reviewed. Infrastructure that is not measured cannot be improved.
Commissioning proves the system can work. Operations prove that it does.
